Natural Gas U.S.® (“NGUS”) is a vertically integrated energy company with innovative solutions that eliminate the environmental and economic problems associated with natural gas flaring and fugitive emissions from stranded gas. NGUS monetizes these gases into clean burning, useful fuels, creating new revenues for the oil/gas producers, while adding money to the bottom line for the end-users.
The clean burning fuels produced from the captured and processed flare and stranded gas is transported and sold to end-users typically at or below the natural gas market price and depending on the terms of the fuel sales agreement with the end-user, the gas may provide a hedge against the volatility of the natural gas market.
The U.S. is the fifth largest gas flaring country in the world and California is the third largest oil producing state within America. The goal of NGUS is to eliminate flaring and to monetize waste and stranded natural gas resources by purchasing the gas resources at the wellhead and converting them into Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). NGUS utilizes a proprietary and innovative gas capturing and processing technology that helps to mitigate many of the oil/gas producers’ environmental and air quality problems created by gas flaring and fugitive methane emissions.
The NGUS team of professionals, engineers, designers and CNG experts have vast experience within the oil and gas industry. This visionary team understands how to convert challenges and problems into opportunities by using its proven technology, leadership, engineering expertise, logistics experience, marketing knowledge and excellent understanding of the oil and natural gas markets to identify and implement meaningful and cost effective solutions.
It starts with wellhead waste gas flaring from oil and gas operations. Instead of flaring it, we capture this valuable commodity and convert it into a useable form to power electric generation or for vehicle, rail, shipping and aircraft transportation. The technology used is made and developed in America. Globally, there is over 350,000 wells burning waste gas that comprises of valuable minerals that could be used to power the planet. Flaring this waste gas poisons the atmosphere with volatile organic compounds. However, it is far better from an air quality perspective to burn the gas through a flare system rather than vent it directly into the atmosphere. The world needs energy. The best option is to capture gas from wells is the utilization of our NGUS technology for use where access to gas pipelines is not possible or create a temporary solution until the well sites have interconnections available.
Natural Gas US has as its mission to capture these wasted resources burning into the atmosphere and convert into Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) or Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). NGUS provides a long-term or short-term solution to this ever-increasing problem as more well sites come online. Of the different fossil fuels available, pure natural gas is mostly methane a clean-burning fuel. By converting the fuel into CNG or LNG, it enables the natural gas to be transported to locations in need of clean burning fuel.
Natural Gas US was developed a solution for energy efficiency programs and for the ultimate reduction of fossil fuels required for generation of electricity. In the quest to discover the most efficient use of power, the search expanded to the most abundant commercially available fuel types. Most experts in the energy sector today, point to Natural Gas as the fuel of choice for the next generation of clean burning power plants. In addition to electric generation powered by this abundant resource, it became evident that natural gas is the only alternative fuel to diesel and gasoline that can power heavy-duty vehicles.
Natural gas on average at service stations is one-third to half less than the cost of conventional gasoline prices. The rising cost of gasoline and diesel has forced the transportation industry to develop new applications to replace dirty fuels with efficient and clean burning fuels that are cheaper and more abundant. The big users of transportation fuels such as waste management, public busing, railroad, and shipping are taking the lead in this transformation from the old way of doing things to modern higher mileage vehicles. The United States largest truck-leasing companies for transportation of grocery, automotive, electronics and retail industries are changing out their fleets with vehicle engines that last longer and burn cleaner. The nation's biggest trash hauler has created a new defensive strategy: it is buying trucks that will run on cheaper natural gas. "The economics favoring natural gas are overwhelming," says Scott Perry, a vice president at Ryder Systems Inc.
The vast discovery of natural gas deposits and the shale boom revolution has cut the price of natural gas by about 45% over the past year. This shift in reduced prices for energy has triggered the utility industry to push from coal to natural gas. The improved and advanced drilling technologies being utilized today has unlocked the ability to capture vast amounts of natural gas within shale rock formations, making the fuel cheap and plentiful across the country.
